Item 38 House Entrance

This old Rajasthani piece would have been the entrance to a haveli, or wealthy person’s home from the past. It has enough detail to intrigue, however the pleasing proportions and overall simplicity render it a most elegant piece. Solid teak. It stands 2950mm high and is 5750mm in length.
