Item 123 Sarasvati Statue

Found in an old haveli, this beautiful carving depicts Sarasvati, a Vedic Goddess and a river which flows from the celestial ocean and distributes all the blessings on earth: fertility, wealth, offspring and immortality. Carved from solid wood this imposing piece stands 1820mm meters high and 750mm wide. The quality of the carving and exquisite detail of this piece render it imposing, striking and very beautiful.
