Amethyst beads, both smooth and hand facetted, give this piece a quietly luxurious character. The old Indian silver pendant depicts, we think, Arjuna, a warrior whose name means ‘bright’ or ‘silver’ and one of the heroes of the Hindu epic Mahabharata.
